GIS 111 - Introduction to GIS |
Introductory course presents basic GIS theories and
concepts. Fundamentals explored include a brief
introduction to basic cartographic principles, data
types, map scales, coordinate systems and projections.
Hands-on training includes manipulating, analyzing,
and creating maps using an industry-standard GIS
system.
