BIOL 211 - Genetics |
Prerequisite: BIOL 103 or BIOL 203. Intended for science majors,
this course emphasizes the genetic principles that
underlie the molecular basis of heredity. Topics
include: the structure, function, and regulation
of DNA, genes, and chromosomes; the biological
and molecular basis of genetics and inheritance;
mutations; gene expression and regulation; population
genetics; genetic technologies.
