BIOL 223 - General Ecology |
Prerequisite: high school biology, BIOL 100, 101, 103 or equivalent. A study
of the fundamental principles of the ecology of plants
and animals. Topics will include components of the
ecosystem; energy flow in ecosystems; ecology of
populations; organization and dynamics of ecological
communities with a focus on aquatic, wetland and
terrestrial ecosystems.
