SD 201 - Service and Leadership |
As an introduction to service and leadership, this
course will involve students in field experiences in
community agencies to help them reflect on the
meanings of community, service and leadership.
Recognizing civic responsibilities and the value of
volunteerism as related to community development,
students will examine and explore leadership theory
and techniques as demonstrated by community
members. (Students must provide own transportation
to off-campus locations.)
