Recommended background: BUS 103. Designed
to introduce students to the tourism industry, the
course will focus on the marketing, management
and economic impact of tourism. Specific topics will
include an exploration of careers in tourism, tourism
promotion, tourism service suppliers, destinations,
economic, political, environmental and socio-cultural
impacts of tourism. Projects will involve student
involvement in the tourism industry.
