Prerequisites: High School Biology or BIOL 100 or BIOL 101 or BIOL 103 or equivalent. This is the first course of an anatomy and physiology sequence, and explores human anatomy (structure) and physiology (function) encompassing cells, tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, and special and somatic senses, with emphasis on how organ systems interact to maintain function and homeostasis. Three class hours/one two-hour lab weekly.
