Prerequisite: MATH 106 or equivalent. Introduction
includes propositional and predicate logic, sets,
functions, matrix algebra, number theory, algorithms,
valid arguments, direct and indirect proofs, proof by
contradiction, mathematical induction, permutations,
combinations and other counting techniques, and
discrete probability.
