ECH 101 - Intro Early Child Education |
Concurrent enrollment in ECH 103 or 106 is required.
Recommended background: PSY 215. Course examines
the history and development of early childhood education
as well as current trends and issues. The needs of
the young child (age 0 to 8) will be studied for the purpose
of applying the principles of growth and development
to the use of appropriate methods, materials and
activities. The development of skills to work with children,
families and the community will be emphasized.
