Concurring Requisite: NURS 216, NURS 217. This course
provides students with an overview of contemporary
issues and trends and their impact on the nursing
profession. The role of the associate degree nurse
and the transition from student to member of the
profession will be explored. Focuses on the core
concepts of professional nursing and health care.
