BUS 225 - Micro Application Software |
Recommended background: basic microcomputer skills
such as using Windows menus and mouse, creating,
saving, and printing files. Briefly covers microcomputer
hardware, the Windows operating system and its file
management capabilities. Provides coverage of the
features and functions of application programs for
word processing, electronic spreadsheets, database
management, and presentation graphics. Lecture and
hands-on assignments emphasize application to typical
business problems. Curriculum is based on the core
competencies required for Microsoft Office Specialist
(MOS) certification.
